Many people forget the things that matter in life and constantly wonder why they feel like shit most of the time. Although most people say they want to be happy, almost none of them can tell you how specifically they will know when they are happy.
It looks like our brain is not tuned into feel happy. Don’t believe me?

Ok answer this question
Where in you body do you feel the most pleasure right now?

Found an answer yet?

If you are like most people you say there wondering where you feel the most pleasure in your body.
Now try answering another question

Where in your body do you feel the most pain right now?

At one workshop I had a near 100% response to this question. Almost everyone could point out at least one place where they felt some kind of pain.

What does this exercise prove?

We are more tuned into detect pain than pleasure. Any wonder why we always seem to end up in bad spots, less than desirable situations.
The things we like don’t seem to want to come to us. That is because although consciously we say we like pleasure, unconsciously we are comfortable with pain.
Until you realize this fact and consciously start to identify the pleasure spots in your body and in your life, you will stay wound in the same rat race.

So everytime you make a decision ask your self are making it because every one else is making or, because you believe you will get closer to being happier this way?

Is it your feet? or your stomach?

Can you locate at least one part of your body where you feel the greatest pleasure…right now….

No answer?

I do not blame you.

Now think of at least one part of your body that hurts….

How may can you name?

If you are like any other person, you can name at least 2 or 3 parts.

How the Hell is this related to being happy?

All our life, we have been trained to focus on the mistakes, pains errors and unpleasantness in general.

When we focus so much on unpleasant painful things, how can you be happy rich or successful?

What is the first step in being happy?

Focus more on finding the pleasant thought feelings and expressions.

Dr. Kilstein, a leading NLP Specialist has created a DVD program that helps people recognize their most powerful states and then use it to make themselves happier and successful.

If you want to give yourself a wonderful Christmas present, this is it.

This is the perfect way to start your New Year.

Skill and confidence are two different things. You may not be skillful enough to do something and that is OK. But when you loose your confidence or doubt your self that is something totally different.

Have you ever met someone who can confidently tell you he does not know what to do?
Well. Now you have met me. Most people think confidence is only about competence. It is not the case. While they are related and one often drives the other they are not interdependent.

I have met a lot of very good mechanics who had a lot of confidence but no competence what so ever. And I have also met a lot of engineers who have a lot of competence but no confidence in themselves. Both situations are dangerous and although they are not mutually controlling each other, they do have a serious impact on the other.

A lot of confidence with no competence is like a used car sales man.

A lot of competence with no confidence is like a blind gunner.

Both can be dangerous.

So what steps are you taking today to access your confidence and competence?
Wanted to get started?
Here is a good resource for you: How to build Self Confidence
